Case study: New Siemens Web design

To continue setting standards in the rapidly changing online world, Siemens decided to redesign the company’s online design in April 2007. Virtual Identity competed with various agencies for the project and won the bid.

Our solution includes all content-related dimensions of online communication, including the global information architecture, interaction options, navigation features and design. The redesign effectively interprets the Siemens corporate design for the online medium while offering simple and transparent user orientation. The new design focuses on fostering a dialogue with users and ensuring the commercial appeal of the Siemens website.

By July 2007, just three months after the start of the project, eight sites on four continents were launched in the new online design. VI supports Siemens in managing the complete and global implementation of the system.
