Virtual Identity relaunches the HypoVereinsbank online portal

hypovereinsbank.de will become the online flagship branch.

Virtual Identity developed a new conceptual framework for HypoVereinsbank’s online communication and redesigned the website for personal banking customers. The new bank website is now available online at www.hypovereinsbank.de.

The main goal of the revision was to enable HypoVereinsbank to tap the Web's sales potential. The internet will now be used as a fundamental sales and information channel in addition to other conventional sales resources.

Virtual Identity helped HypoVereinsbank establish a target-oriented user navigation system in the revised portal. Well-placed teasers and interactive consultants guide users to the HypoVereinsbank products best suited to their needs. Extensive information or recommendations on "savings", "investments" or "pensions" can be accessed with just a click of the mouse. Site users can contact the bank at any time via e-mail, phone or by using the branch location search function. The modified HypoVereinsbank site also enables users to order products and finalise transactions in a few simple steps online.

The new platform has proven to be as financially successful as direct bank sites. At the same time, the website emphasises the status and outstanding advisory skills of one of Germany’s largest financial service providers.

Virtual Identity has worked for HypoVereinsbank since 2001 and was responsible for the concept creation and design of the revised website.
