Munich, 7 April 2008
Munich, 7 April 2008. Carl Zeiss awards the advisory mandate to Virtual Identity.
The aim of this collaboration is to identify and maximise the potential of the World Wide Web for Carl Zeiss. In this project, Virtual Identity is responsible for developing concepts for the strategic management of all Carl Zeiss Web activities, whether internal or external, as well as a global, customer-oriented Web architecture and the corresponding technical infrastructure.
Virtual Identity was able to beat out several prominent consulting firms in a lengthy bidding process. "We were very impressed by Virtual Identity’s expertise in strategic Web management methods," said Uwe Grunewald, the responsible project manager at Carl Zeiss. “This first shared project laid the foundation for our long-term strategic partnership."
The basis for the implementation is the Web Value Model developed by Virtual Identity. It incorporates all value-relevant dimensions of Web activities and helps employees to optimise these processes continuously. The main purpose of this project involves the group-wide implementation of this model and its corresponding management processes.
