Financial Times names the Roche corporate website the world's best

The Roche corporate website was ranked number one for the first time. This year marks the third time in a row that a corporate website supported by Virtual Identity has led the Financial Times Corporate Website Index.

Munich, 24 April 2009. The Roche corporate website (http://www.roche.com) is the top-ranked site in the Financial Times Bowen/Craggs Index, published on 21 April 2009. This is the first time that the Swiss pharmaceutical group has taken first place in the list after finishing 26th last year.

The annual Financial Times ranking examines the corporate websites of the 75 largest global companies according to market value. The analysis covers usability, the quality of service provided to the corporate audiences and the communication excellence of the website. The Roche corporate website convinced the authors of the study in all of these dimensions.

Virtual Identity supported Roche in the concept creation, design, content production and technical implementation of the website during the relaunch last year. The revised site went live in September 2008.

This is the third year in a row that a corporate website supported by Virtual Identity has been given the top ranking in the Financial Times Corporate Website Index. The Siemens AG corporate website took first place in 2007 and 2008.
